I can tell straight away when I am reading the work of a great author. They don't try and use fancy words to impress. They don't try and sound as if
they know more than anyone else in an arrogant way. And above all, they create stories that are 'simple' (and by simple I mean wonderful) This is how
Viola Grace writes. Her work is beautifully written with wonderful characters. Her work is very accessible and easy to read and enjoy.rnrnStation 13
is no exception to this. It's a wonderful short story with a fantastic character named Kaylee, who's also cheeky and adorable and I immediately
connected with her. Dirven, the male lead, is sent to the station to try and get Kaylee back into the 'real world.' I won't say too much about the
plot, but suffice it to say, I adored the shower scene and the connection, both mentally and physically, between the two characters. There was a
beautiful sense of deep emotion between the two. And all in the name of science, right? *grin*rnrnI can't wait to read more stories from Viola. If
this is the standard, then I am in for a treat :-)*hugs*rnrnMark

Another entertaining short story by Ms Grace that ties in with her Champion's of Terra, Terran Times and Sector Guard series. These sets of stories
are all fast paced, entertaining frolics in space and on distant planets in exciting galaxies, with fascinating characters and just the right amount
of humour and romance to make a reader sigh with pleasure when they've finished one - and moan about the wait till the next release!!
