Julie (Tuesday, 27 January 2009) Rating: What a great follow-on from THE PROTECTOR'S DESTINY!! Although it can easily be read as a stand alone title, it also ties up a couple of loose ends from the first book in the series, as well as setting the scene perfectly for THE PROTECTOR'S KEEPER - which I believe is coming very soon. The reader is introduced to a number of new characters - and a new species too! - and I for one, am seriously looking forward to hearing all of their tales in future releases. BRLs art for building and maintaining tension in a story and writing emotional love scenes is what has me returning time and time again to her books. This is another title for the 'keeper' shelf.
