Paul Simpson thought Scott Carmichael was the man of his dreams. They shared the same career goals, liked the same foods, were good in bed together. But after three years of togetherness, and just before Halloween--their proclaimed holiday--Scott breaks off the relationship. Paul is beside himself, but realizes he must go on. He decorates the frat house, plans the party for his friends--then gets drunk. The evening unfolds in a cloudy wave of drunkenness with an ardent admirer practically forcing sex on him, and his peers ridiculing him because he is drunk.
